Suspension, renewal and revocation of a certificate
After issuing a certificate, the Center may suspend, renew or revoke it in cases envisioned in Articles 13 and 14 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Electronic Signature and Electronic Document”. In this case, the Center makes relevant entries in the “Register of Certificates” about current changes in the certificate.
The signature holder must apply to the Center for suspension, renewal or revocation of a certificate. The Center takes immediate action without delay upon application, informs the signature holder about this and makes relevant entries in the “Register of Certificates” about current changes in the certificate.
In case of breach of confidentiality of signature creating data, the Center takes immediate action to revoke the certificate and changes the signature creating data. In this case, the Center informs the signature holders and provides for free changing of their certificates signed with signature creating data.
